Painting II: Still Life

ARTS 214

Still Life Painting. Students learn painting strategies for representing and interpreting form using oil paint. Emphasis on observation, proportion, composition, and color theory. Historical and contemporary methods will be used to guide students toward a personalized visual vocabulary. Prerequisite: ARTS 110 or consent of instructor.
