Senior Seminar I

HIST 493

This is the first semester of a year-long capstone for students majoring in History, Social Studies, American Studies, and Religion. Students will identify a topic for the BA thesis, create a historiographical review that outlines and engages with past and current debates, and finally produce a research proposal in preparation for HIST 494. Prerequisite: HIST 490 or consent of instructor.

HIST493 is a 1.5 credit course.
