MATH 455

?An introduction to topological spaces and subspaces. Fundamental properties of topological spaces such as compactness, connectedness, separation properties and countability properties. Continuity and homeomorphisms between topological spaces and common examples of topological spaces including product and quotient spaces are discussed. Prerequisite: MAth 295 or consent of instructor.
