Foundations of Abstract Mathematics

MATH 295

This course is an introduction to the theory and methods of mathematical proof, including the methods of contradiction and contraposition. The primary objectives are for students to be able to read and write mathematical proofs. Subject material covered may include set theory, logic and number theory. Prerequisite: MATH 152.
