Old Testament Prophetic Literature:Isaiah to Malachi

This course is an introduction to and study of the writings of Old Testament prophets with special reference to the book of Isaiah. Course contents include: a) an examination of the prophets in the history of Israel/Judah and the ancient world, b) poetics and rhetoric of the prophetic writings, c) the theology of the prophets with special reference to the Messianic prophesy.
